BSAU 02 is a new washbasin designed for high-risk areas, such as decompensation cells in correctional facilities, psychiatric wards for mentally disturbed patients, or rehabilitation centers for drug addicts. It is also suitable for remote, unattended locations like highway rest stops.
The design of this wall-mounted washbasin is partly based on the concept of the washbasin included in the BSK 01 security set.
Key advantages of this anti-vandal washbasin:
– All components, including the siphon and water supply, are concealed.
– The spout is made of robust stainless steel and cannot be bent or broken using conventional means.
– Water supply is controlled electronically, releasing only a pre-set amount of water when the start button is pressed.
– The start button responds only to downward pressure, preventing continuous water flow in case of obstruction.
– The basin outlet consists of perforations in a stainless steel plate, making the siphon inaccessible from above.
– The design prevents self-harm for psychologically unstable individuals.
The washbasin features a full stainless steel casing with a thickness of 2 mm, making it resistant to extreme force. Its surface is sandblasted for durability. The ZAC 1/20 power source is required for operation.
The standard version is designed for tempered mixed water. Custom dimensions or additional modifications can be made upon request.
